These demonstrations, visible in Los Cabos areas like San Jose del Cabo and Todos Santos, are not just local events but part of a larger nationwide outcry against the ongoing issue of women's disappearances and the lack of adequate support for their families.


The color purple has become a symbol of this movement, representing solidarity and the ongoing struggle for women's rights. This color adorned banners, clothing, and streets during the marches, marking the day not as a celebration but as a solemn commemoration and call to action against gender-based violence.
